A big part of advocating for yourself is speaking up about concerns. Sometimes, know matter how much you trust your doctor or nurse, you might disagree with them. When they are persistent and so are you it might start to feel like an argument. Have you experienced a situation such as this? What was the disagreement and how was it resolved?

“I haven’t argued with a doctor, but my daughter in law spent lots of time arguing with my son’s first PH specialist. When the doctor was insulted that she would use her medical training to dispute him, she used her medical contacts to find another doctor for my son. That doctor saved my son’s life. Have I ever mentioned how much I love my DIL?”
