Let’s talk about our heart health!
The American Heart Association (AHA) celebrates 100 years of lifesaving work! They continue to educate Americans about heart health. February is American Heart Month. Managing PH means staying informed.
February 2nd is National Wear Red Day – Go Red for Women. Do you know what Go Red stands for? Let’s review it together.
- Get your numbers: ask your doctor about cholesterol and blood pressure.
- Own your lifestyle: stop smoking, lose weight, exercise, and eat healthily.
- Realize your risk: heart disease kills 1 in 3 women.
- Educate your family. You and your family should make healthy choices and stay active.
- Don’t be silent: inform every woman you know that heart disease is our #1 killer.
You can also visit the AHA website using the link below to find images and other content to post on your social media channels to raise awareness about heart health.
