Rare Disease Week on Capitol Hill, Washington, D.C. is wrapping up today. I have never attended but I have friends who make a point of going every year. From what I hear it is worth the trip and time to speak up and be heard.

Hey Colleen! I have heard of this and I also have heard of many in the congenital heart disease community going to Capitol Hill to get awareness and funding for CHD. It would definitely be something that I would be interested in going to one day ! It has been hard for me to travel lately but DC isn’t too far from me and would be a car drive away or a bus. Definitely something I would love to plan to go to one year!
